Privacy policy

What we collect when you use this website, why, who handles it and what you can ask us to do with it. In short: only what you choose to send us, used to reply to you.

Who we are

This website is operated by Auvorent LLC ("Auvorent", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information collected through it. For anything in this policy, write to clientsuccess@auvorent.com.

This policy covers this website only. When you become a client, the personal data we handle for you is governed by your contract with us, including any data processing agreement we sign.

What we collect

We collect only what you give us, through the enquiry form or by email:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company name, if you add it
  • Your message, and any service, package or estimate you selected on a service page
  • The page you sent the enquiry from

Please don't include sensitive information, such as health or financial details, in an enquiry.

Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We use your IP address briefly to limit repeated form submissions and don't store it with your enquiry.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our fonts are served from our own site, so no third-party font service sees your visit. If that changes, we will update this policy before the change goes live and ask for consent where the law requires it.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and discuss the work you described
  • Prepare a proposal, estimate or assessment you asked for
  • Keep a record of our correspondence with you
  • Protect the website and our business from fraud and abuse

We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list without asking.

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and on taking steps you asked for before entering a contract.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers that run this website and our email, and only as far as they need it:

  • Netlify, which hosts this website and processes visits and form submissions
  • Google, whose email service delivers and stores enquiries and our replies

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to a buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold, in which case this policy continues to apply.

International transfers

Auvorent works with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE and Pakistan, and our providers operate in several countries, including the United States. Your information may therefore be handled outside the country you live in. Where the law requires it, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by our providers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to follow up on the conversation. If the enquiry doesn't lead to work, we delete it within 24 months. If it does, records are kept for the length of the engagement and as long afterwards as our legal, tax and accounting obligations require.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, enquiries are sent over encrypted connections, and access to our email is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we will tell you without undue delay if a breach affects your information and the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy
  • Ask us to correct or delete it
  • Object to or restrict how we use it
  • Ask for it in a portable format
  • Complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the United Kingdom

To make a request, email clientsuccess@auvorent.com. We'll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Children

This website is for businesses and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
